Askarchitects has been involved in the design of 5 consecutive stores for the Lalaounis jewelry brand. The objective was to gradually transform a 60’s based brand image into contemporary aesthetics. In the golden Hall mall context, the objective was to emphasize the preciousness of the golden jewelry, and to maximize the use of space. Stripes of fabric wood and mirror were juxtaposed as a tool to manipulate the depth of the space, and to articulate a range of tactile sensory effects that bring out the qualities of the gold.
