description: site specific interventions in an existing summer house in Antiparos, Greece
site area: 8077 m2
existing floor area: 334.41 m2
completed in: 2023
design team: Alexandra Stratou, Anastasia Bisbiroulia, Eirini Kapetana
The project consists of a metal entrance canopy, a pool bar and various storage units scattered across the patio. The goal is to accommodate the owners’ needs, while integrating the structures into the surrounding environment. Copper toned materials are used, as well as ceramic bricks and stone surfaces. The different levels of visibility and transparency that are created, offer privacy to the visitors of the house and also a dynamic relationship between the built elements and the landscape.
